KLGR-FM was a regular visitor to my listening post in Apple Valley, MN. Although just 3,000 watts from 100+ miles distant, I had no trouble pulling it in. The FM station was fully automated at this time while KLGR-AM 1490 was live and local radio for Redwood Falls.
Reception was made using a Pioneer SX-3900 receiver, Winegard 10 element FM yagi antenna, Alliance U-100 Tenna Rotor, and Belden RG59 ultra low loss coaxial cable. I recorded it on a Technics stereo cassette deck with a TDK SA90 tape.
